Snow & Winter Games

What are snow and winter games?

This collection gathers every game set in snow and ice, whatever the genre. There are winter sports like skiing, snowboarding and ice skating, snowball fights and sled races, penguin and polar animal games, frozen-world platformers and winter-themed puzzles, solitaire and mahjong. Not all of them are about Christmas - they are fun all winter long.

What makes a good one?

Snow is a great game setting because it changes how things move: sliding, drifting and slipping. The best winter games make use of that with slippery physics or ice-block puzzles, instead of only changing the background to white.

How to choose: beginners and experienced players

If you want something relaxed, try winter jigsaws, mahjong or a skating dress-up game. For action, go for snowball fights, downhill skiing and snowboarding games, which are short and easy to retry. Sports games on snow usually use just the arrow keys or swipes.
